Paleros

The main life support of the population of the picturesque village Paleros is agriculture. The tourism in Paloros consists mainly of sailors who visit Paleros. This is the reason that Paleros kept his own real Greek identity and also the Greek way of living; the stores in the village are closed in the afternoon and open during the evening.

The town is situated between the impressive mountains massif and the always blue Ionian Sea. The original town was build on a hill as protection against pirates.

If you decide to adjust to the Greek way of living in the afternoon you can take a swim at one of the two beautiful beaches.
