Lefkas
The name of this island is the Greek word (Lefkes) for white, because of its white beaches and cliffs at the south/ west point of the island.
Lefkas island is surrounded by lovely islands like Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, Skorpios, Skorpidi, Madouri, Partli, Thileia and Kythros. The ideal destination to anchor with your sailing yacht for a nice swimming break or to spent the night. But also the Lefkas island is situated very central for a sailing trip to Corfu or Zakynthos.
Lefkas Island is a part of the Ionian archipelago and is connected to the mainland of Greece by bridge. This makes Lefkas easy to reach from the airport Preveza.
